North Murfreesboro Homeowners want answers!



At the May 15th, 2013 Planning Commission/Planning Department meeting, Chairman Bob Lamb stated, “The city should hold a meeting with affected residents to explain the drainage plan and provide any other pertinent information.”
 
Chairman Lamb also stated, “I want to reassure residents of Murfreesboro we will not allow any construction on these areas… until drainage questions are resolved.”
 
To date, no public meeting has been scheduled for North Murfreesboro homeowners. So, we must ask: WHY NOT?
 

 After all, these statements were published in the Daily News Journal and credited to Chairman Lamb.
 
North Murfreesboro homeowners deserve another public meeting about this rezoning application of almost 90 acres! There are still too many unanswered questions. We homeowners have the right to illuminate our drainage problems and receive answers from the powers-that-be.
 
Why the rush to rezone if the Planning Commission/Planning Department will not allow construction until the drainage issues are solved?
 
Why not defer rezoning this property indefinitely until all of the drainage issues are solved?
Homeowners……contact the members of the Planning Commission and request a committed date for another public meeting concerning these issues!!!!!
